Across TCGA patient cohorts, NPC2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NPC2-associated genes across cancer lineages are RN7SL248P, COX6CP3, and MIR8059. Each is linked with NPC2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NPC2-to-partner and partner-to-NPC2 results are reported.
