Across TCGA patient cohorts, HLA-B mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 625 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HLA-B-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-939P, IPPKP1, and RN7SL275P. Each is linked with HLA-B in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HLA-B-to-partner and partner-to-HLA-B results are reported.
