SOX2-OT

associated omics data
SOX2 overlapping transcriptGenealiases: NCRNA00043 · SOX2OT

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored SOX2-OT profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. SOX2-OT expression is associated with patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in MESO. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, SOX2-OT is differentially expressed in 12, with the highest sampling consensus in KIRP. Additionally, SOX2-OT RNA expression shows 17,293 significant gene co-expression associations, with the highest sampling consensus in THYM. Together, these results highlight MESO, KIRP, and THYM as cancer lineages where SOX2-OT shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes SOX2-OT survival associations across molecular data types. SOX2-OT RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (19). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible SOX2-OT RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High SOX2-OT expression shows unfavorable associations in UVM, but favorable associations in MESO, LUSC, SKCM, LUAD and READ. The MESO Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the low-expression group declining faster, consistent with the favorable association (log-rank p = .001). Together, the overview and detailed table identify MESO as the clearest survival context for SOX2-OT RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for SOX2-OT. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. SOX2-OT shows lower tumor expression in KIRP, KIRC, THCA and KICH and higher tumor expression in HNSC and LUSC. The KIRP box plot shows higher SOX2-OT RNA expression in normal versus tumor tissue (log2 FC = −0.225, t-test p < 0.001).
