SMIM14

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMIM14 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 261 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMIM14-associated genes across cancer lineages are MGAT2P2, VDAC1P5, and AHSA1. Each is linked with SMIM14 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMIM14-to-partner and partner-to-SMIM14 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MGAT2P2 grouped by SMIM14-low versus SMIM14-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMIM14→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMIM14) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
