SMC2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMC2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,364 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMC2-associated genes across cancer lineages are SRP68P1, CEP76, and RRP7BP. Each is linked with SMC2 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMC2-to-partner and partner-to-SMC2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, SRP68P1 grouped by SMC2-low versus SMC2-high in LUAD.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMC2→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMC2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
