Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMAD7 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 555 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMAD7-associated genes across cancer lineages are MCF2, MICU1, and UHRF1BP1L. Each is linked with SMAD7 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMAD7-to-partner and partner-to-SMAD7 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMAD7 versus MCF2 in GBM, with a Pearson correlation of 0.83.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMAD7→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMAD7) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
