Across TCGA patient cohorts, SCX mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SCX-associated genes across cancer lineages are XKRY2, VCY1B, and RNA5SP205. Each is linked with SCX in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SCX-to-partner and partner-to-SCX results are reported.
