Across TCGA patient cohorts, RS1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,099 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RS1-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR7976, MIR548AY, and SLCO1B1. Each is linked with RS1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RS1-to-partner and partner-to-RS1 results are reported.
