Across TCGA patient cohorts, RGN protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19,619 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RGN-associated genes across cancer lineages are SCN7A, MYL3, and MYOM1. Each is linked with RGN in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RGN-to-partner and partner-to-RGN results are reported.
