Across TCGA patient cohorts, PYGB protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,859 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PYGB-associated genes across cancer lineages are ASPM, ENTPD6, and SUV39H1. Each is linked with PYGB in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PYGB-to-partner and partner-to-PYGB results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, PYGB versus ASPM in GBM, with a Pearson correlation of -0.40.
