Across TCGA patient cohorts, NOBOX protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,298 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NOBOX-associated genes across cancer lineages are DMC1, CHADL, and GPR143. Each is linked with NOBOX in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NOBOX-to-partner and partner-to-NOBOX results are reported.
