Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NOBOX RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NOBOX data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher NOBOX RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NOBOX expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and LUSC show a favorable association.

SCLC, KIRC, and UCS are the cancer types where NOBOX RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
