Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTTP protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9,336 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTTP-associated genes across cancer lineages are PPM1L, SLC5A9, and PRAP1. Each is linked with MTTP in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTTP-to-partner and partner-to-MTTP results are reported.
