Across TCGA patient cohorts, MMD2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 131 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MMD2-associated genes across cancer lineages are FAM218BP, TRAPPC2P7, and RPL17-C18orf32. Each is linked with MMD2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MMD2-to-partner and partner-to-MMD2 results are reported.
