Across TCGA patient cohorts, MIR580 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,370 significant associations in total. STAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MIR580-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Nuclear-transcribed mRNA catabolic process, Alternative mRNA splicing, via spliceosome, and Protein acylation. Each is linked with MIR580 in more than 26 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MIR580-to-partner and partner-to-MIR580 results are reported.
