MC4R

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MC4R mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,448 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MC4R-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNA5SP411, RNA5SP351, and RNU6-440P. Each is linked with MC4R in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MC4R-to-partner and partner-to-MC4R results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RNA5SP411 grouped by MC4R-low versus MC4R-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MC4R→partner) and Y-score (partner→MC4R) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
