Across TCGA patient cohorts, IGHV4-4 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,390 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible IGHV4-4-associated genes across cancer lineages are IGHV1-3, IRF4, and P2RY8. Each is linked with IGHV4-4 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both IGHV4-4-to-partner and partner-to-IGHV4-4 results are reported.
