Across TCGA patient cohorts, HLA-J RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 7,175 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HLA-J-associated proteins across cancer lineages are RPS12, MICALL1, and NDEL1_S197. Each is linked with HLA-J in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HLA-J-to-partner and partner-to-HLA-J results are reported.
