Across TCGA patient cohorts, HLA-DQB2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,274 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HLA-DQB2-associated genes across cancer lineages are HLA-DQA2, HLA-DRB6, and CD2. Each is linked with HLA-DQB2 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HLA-DQB2-to-partner and partner-to-HLA-DQB2 results are reported.
