CYP2G1P

associated omics data
cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily G member 1, pseudogeneGenealiases: CYP2G1 · CYP2GP1

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored CYP2G1P profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. CYP2G1P expression is associated with patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in KIRC. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, CYP2G1P is differentially expressed in 7, with the highest sampling consensus in LUSC. Additionally, CYP2G1P protein abundance shows 22,739 significant protein co-abundance associations, with the highest sampling consensus in LUAD. Together, these results highlight KIRC, LUSC, and LUAD as cancer lineages where CYP2G1P shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes CYP2G1P survival associations across molecular data types. CYP2G1P RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (17), followed by mutation status (1) and mass-spec protein abundance (5). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible CYP2G1P RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High CYP2G1P expression shows unfavorable associations in KIRC, MESO, BLCA and ACC, but favorable associations in CESC and LIHC. The KIRC Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the high-expression group declining faster, consistent with the unfavorable association (log-rank p = .002). Together, the overview and detailed table identify KIRC as the clearest survival context for CYP2G1P RNA expression.

Tumor vs Normal expression

This table summarizes CYP2G1P tumor–normal expression differences by data type. RNA shows broader differences across cancer types, with a lineage consensus of 7, while mass-spec protein shows differences in 6. The strongest signals are observed in LUSC for RNA and CCRCC for protein.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for CYP2G1P. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. CYP2G1P shows lower tumor expression in LUSC, KICH, LUAD, LIHC and BLCA and higher tumor expression in PAAD. The LUSC box plot shows higher CYP2G1P RNA expression in normal versus tumor tissue (log2 FC = −0.386, t-test p < 0.001).
