Across TCGA patient cohorts, CTBP1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17,581 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CTBP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are LCORL, HAUS3, and MXD4. Each is linked with CTBP1 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CTBP1-to-partner and partner-to-CTBP1 results are reported.
