Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CTBP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CTBP1 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher CTBP1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CTBP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.

UVM, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where CTBP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
