Across TCGA patient cohorts, BRCA2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,875 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible BRCA2-associated genes across cancer lineages are CPLX1, LCK, and MMP12. Each is linked with BRCA2 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BRCA2-to-partner and partner-to-BRCA2 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, BRCA2 versus CPLX1 in CCRCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.62.
