Across TCGA patient cohorts, AQP5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 89 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible AQP5-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR1915, RNA5SP36, and POLR2DP2. Each is linked with AQP5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both AQP5-to-partner and partner-to-AQP5 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MIR1915 grouped by AQP5-low versus AQP5-high in LUSC.
