Across TCGA patient cohorts, XG protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,975 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible XG-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR3935, DDX17, and FOXRED2. Each is linked with XG in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both XG-to-partner and partner-to-XG results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, XG versus MIR3935 in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.36.
