Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, UTS2R RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated UTS2R data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher UTS2R RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated UTS2R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, SKCM, and BRCA are the cancer types where UTS2R RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
