Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, USP54 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated USP54 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher USP54 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated USP54 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where USP54 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
