Across TCGA patient cohorts, UCP1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 8 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible UCP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are 14-3-3_beta, Myosin-IIa, and Paxillin. Each is linked with UCP1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both UCP1-to-partner and partner-to-UCP1 results are reported.
