Across TCGA patient cohorts, TST mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 322 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TST-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-1313P, SNORD116-10, and DEFB136. Each is linked with TST in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TST-to-partner and partner-to-TST results are reported.
