Across TCGA patient cohorts, TRPM5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,776 significant associations in total. SKCM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TRPM5-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-642P, CENPU, and TEDC2. Each is linked with TRPM5 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TRPM5-to-partner and partner-to-TRPM5 results are reported.
