Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TRAV8-7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TRAV8-7 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher TRAV8-7 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TRAV8-7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and LUAD show a favorable association.

LIHC, UCEC, and KIRC are the cancer types where TRAV8-7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
