Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TOMM70 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TOMM70 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TOMM70 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TOMM70 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.
HNSC, CCRCC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TOMM70 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
