Across TCGA patient cohorts, TNR protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,054 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TNR-associated genes across cancer lineages are ZCCHC24, VAT1L, and FAM107B. Each is linked with TNR in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TNR-to-partner and partner-to-TNR results are reported.
