Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMPRSS11E RNA expression is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,763 significant associations in total. ESCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMPRSS11E-associated genes across cancer lineages are IVL, SPRR3, and PRSS22. Each is linked with TMPRSS11E in more than 20 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMPRSS11E-to-partner and partner-to-TMPRSS11E results are reported.
