Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMPRSS11E RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TMPRSS11E data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TMPRSS11E RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMPRSS11E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and OV show a favorable association.

LUSC, LUAD, and THYM are the cancer types where TMPRSS11E RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
