Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMPRSS11E protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,644 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible TMPRSS11E-associated genes across cancer lineages are IL36RN, TTLL12, and FERMT1. Each is linked with TMPRSS11E in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMPRSS11E-to-partner and partner-to-TMPRSS11E results are reported.
