TMEM42

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM42 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 108 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM42-associated genes across cancer lineages are IGHV3OR16-8, RNU6-90P, and IGHV3-54. Each is linked with TMEM42 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM42-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM42 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, IGHV3OR16-8 grouped by TMEM42-low versus TMEM42-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TMEM42→partner) and Y-score (partner→TMEM42) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
