TMEM38A

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM38A mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 13 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM38A-associated genes across cancer lineages are PREX1, eEF2, and MEK1. Each is linked with TMEM38A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM38A-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM38A results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, PREX1 grouped by TMEM38A-low versus TMEM38A-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TMEM38A→partner) and Y-score (partner→TMEM38A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
