Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM131 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 31 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM131-associated genes across cancer lineages are Caspase-7-cleavedD198, PCNA, and ASNS. Each is linked with TMEM131 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM131-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM131 results are reported.
