TIMM8A

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, TIMM8A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,400 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TIMM8A-associated genes across cancer lineages are DUTP5, IGLVIV-59, and RNU1-91P. Each is linked with TIMM8A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TIMM8A-to-partner and partner-to-TIMM8A results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, DUTP5 grouped by TIMM8A-low versus TIMM8A-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TIMM8A→partner) and Y-score (partner→TIMM8A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
