Across TCGA patient cohorts, THAP1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 692 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible THAP1-associated genes across cancer lineages are SPTLC2, DICER1, and RNF125. Each is linked with THAP1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both THAP1-to-partner and partner-to-THAP1 results are reported.
