TEX51

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TEX51 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TEX51 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher TEX51 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TEX51 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and PAAD show a favorable association.

KIRP, SKCM, and BLCA are the cancer types where TEX51 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
