Across TCGA patient cohorts, TEK mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,859 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TEK-associated genes across cancer lineages are SKA1, TYMS, and ME2. Each is linked with TEK in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TEK-to-partner and partner-to-TEK results are reported.
