Across TCGA patient cohorts, TBP mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,164 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TBP-associated genes across cancer lineages are RN7SL248P, MIR3118-3, and YTHDF3-AS1. Each is linked with TBP in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TBP-to-partner and partner-to-TBP results are reported.
