Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STX18-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated STX18-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher STX18-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STX18-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and READ show a favorable association.

UCS, READ, and THCA are the cancer types where STX18-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
