Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, STAT5A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated STAT5A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher STAT5A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated STAT5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

THCA and UCEC are the cancer types where STAT5A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
