Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPINK5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SPINK5 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SPINK5 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPINK5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and HNSC show a favorable association.

KIRC, UVM, and HNSC are the cancer types where SPINK5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
