Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SPINK5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SPINK5 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SPINK5 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SPINK5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where SPINK5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
