Across TCGA patient cohorts, SPAG9 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,471 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SPAG9-associated genes across cancer lineages are C1orf147, SOX12, and MRPS23. Each is linked with SPAG9 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SPAG9-to-partner and partner-to-SPAG9 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SPAG9 versus C1orf147 in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.37.
