Across TCGA patient cohorts, SNORD116-4 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 7,160 significant associations in total. PRAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SNORD116-4-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Nuclear-transcribed mRNA catabolic process, Regulation of microtubule cytoskeleton organization, and Regulation of nuclear-transcribed mRNA catabolic process, deadenylation-dependent decay. Each is linked with SNORD116-4 in more than 31 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SNORD116-4-to-partner and partner-to-SNORD116-4 results are reported.
